At three years of age, Aybel had already obtained his full size of seventeen hands. He was quite proud to already be so large - most horses' breeding did not allow for it. Ayb was also proud to be of such an uncommon pattern. Of the maybe fifteen equines that he had come across in his time since coming into this region, the young stallion was the only splashed white. Only Marwari, too. Aybel hoped to change that soon, though, by siring a brood of his own. The foals would not be pure of blood but they would cary his curved ears. As good a mark as any other of carring the Indian breed in their veins. Proudly the dun paint tossed his head as he trotted, sunlight glowing down as it poured over his beige and ivory pelt. The fact that it was a fresh spring day only added to his strangely jovial mood that morning. See... Ay was not a usually happy dude. He was most often snappy and sarcastic - a teenage boy of the most typical proportions. But today he had woken up with a smile on his lips and a spring in his step. It would take very little for his mental state to plunge back down to its usual moody levels.

Chaska moved through the forest taking in all the fresh scents. So far the day had been the same moving and not meeting anybody which was fine with her she'd been own her own for a while since she left her brother's pack. "What a great day..birds singing..the prey is out and running and...." she trailed off catching the scent of something weird.
"What scent is that" she said starting to move more swiftly through the trees. She picked her pace up and started to get closer. Chask soon stopped dead in her tracks seeing another animal like her on four legs. "He looks like a deer" she thought. She crept closer it was bigger than a deer and the colors of it didn't mtach up to deer either.
"Hmm i wonder what is he?" she thought curiosity getting the best of her but she stayed where she was. She had never seen anything like him while she was a pup and wandered around the lands. She sat thinking.

As he was halfway into the protective shade of the trees, a strange scent entered his nostrils. It was something that automatically set him on the defensive. A smell that prey animals like him instinctively despised with all of their being: blood, fresh meat, death... Curiosly-shaped auds burrowed into his mane, the stips still meeting even there. The three year old Marwari whirled about. Some low-growing branches scraped his back and rump as he did so. His blue and brown eyes stared wide-eyed at some strange creature. Aybel had never seen the likes of it before. It was smaller than a horse but larger than a cat, with a long snout and strange ears that were broad at the base with sharp triangular tips. The way those strangely colored eyes locked onto his movements was chilling. There was no mistake that this new being was a predator. The dun bared his teeth bravely, lowering his head. Leave. he hissed angrily.

Chaska watched as the creature suddenly whirled about. "Must've caught my scent" she thought. She then saw it looking at her she wanted to turn tell and flee but curiosity still surged throught her. She stood up in defense a she saw him lower his head and hiss "Leave" Chask's ears perked up and she tiled her head saying "What do you mean leave...I'm not leaving besides what are you so grumpy about it's not like I'm gonna attack you" she slightly growled.
She started to walk forward just a bit and then walk around him sizing him up and sat down. "You're much to big and stronger for me to take down as prey anyway...I just simply wanted to know what creature you are since you're way to big to be a deer" she said softly. She stood back up and backed up a little for her own safety. "I'm not planning on getting a blow from one of his paws or what ever you call them" she thought.
