Name: Shichibukai
Nickname: Shichi, Chi, ChiChi, Death Seeker
Meaning: Japanese, meaning Seven Warlords of the Sea
Age: 3
Gender: Female
Species: Liger
Colouring: Dark reddish tan with dark brown tiger striping. Underparts are pale like a Tiger's though a slightly darker shade of creamy white. There are a few small rosettes on her face. White ocelli are present on her ears. Eyes are a pretty dusky purple with powdery blue flecks around her pupils. Weighs 700 pounds and is around 10 feet long from nose to tufted tail tip.
Personality: Shichibukai is a brave but cautious lady. She likes to take the time to evaluate a situation before going into or committing herself to it. This little habit causes her a lot of stress, as Kunoichi and sometimes Bushido often like to charge straight in. She isn't afraid of much - Bushido jokingly teases her by calling her 'death seeker', since she sometimes seems suicidal in her willingness to sacrifice. Shichibukai will challenge anyone that dares to threaten her family, putting their well-being above her own even though both of them are quite able to care for themselves.
History: Shichibukai and her brother, Bushido, were born to a couple of teens - Kami and Shiori - who just happened of differing species. Shiori was a young tigress who had sought out a home far from her own, where her parents were constantly arguing and picking at her. She took up residence in a thankfully empty range which bordered that of a pride ruled by a young male lion named Kami. Kami had been lucky to oust the older male who had lived there, which gave him rights to the territory and all the females who lived there. He was surprised to see a female so different from his own kind. When their cubs arrived, he payed special attention to getting to know the two cubs and raising them. He even invited Shiori to come live with him among the lionesses. One day, when the two ligers were not even a whole month old, their mother came across a young stray cat. The young Persian queen was suffering from starvation, having found nothing that should could catch in the area. Eating from corpses left behind by the lions held no charms for her. So Shiori put the fluffy black cat out of her misery and took the lone kitten home with her. She still had milk, so it was welcome to nurse alongside her son and daughter. The kitten, whom she named Kunoichi, was not well-recieved by the pride. They fought quite frequently with Shiori over her. The cubs of these lionesses decided to try and physically harm tiny Kunoichi once she was able to move about with her foster siblings. As you can imagine, Shichibukai & Bushido defended her fiercely. To them she was not at all different from them - just kind of little. When the fighting between the adults grew to tooth-and-claw fights, Kami one night quietly asked Shiori to either kill her adopted kit or leave. Shiori left immediately. Alone she raised her children to act as tigers, to abandon all traces of Kami's lion traits which his raising had instilled in them. She also told them to protect Kunoichi as long as the smaller animal lived, to feed and shelter her and the progeny which she produced. At two and a half the trio tearfully left their dam and went out into the wide world to make a name for themselves.

Name: Bushido
Nickname: None
Meaning: Japanese, meaning Way of the Warrior
Age: 3
Gender: Male
Breed: Liger
Colouring: Tawny with a pattern of jet black tiger striping all over, though it grows faint as you go down his legs. Like his sister, he has pale underparts. There are a few faded rosettes around his eyes and on his forehead. His ears also have ocelli. Eyes are a beautiful shade of dusky gold with a pale plum ring around the outside of his iris. Weighs about 775 pounds and is 10.5 feet long from nose to tail tip.
Personality: Bushido is the medium of the trio. He does sometimes look out for what he is doing - though this is pretty rare. Other times he is in everything, dangerous or no, paws first. He isn't hyperactive like Kunoichi; he jokes that his fat ass can't move at all quick enough.

Name: Kunoichi
Nickname: None
Meaning: Japanese, a term for female ninja
Age: 3
Gender: Female
Breed: Birman x Persian
Colouring: A sealpoint with the typical white gloves of the Birman breed on each of her feet. Her eyes are sapphire blue, as with all pointed felines. Kunoichi's pelt is quite long and fluffy but exactly as huge as a Persian might be.
Personality: Minimum three lines, please. More is appreciated.
History: Before Shiori came across her, the young minx had no name. She was simply referred to as 'the baby' by her mother. The tigress named her Kunoichi, thinking of her already steathy movements which so resembled those of a hunting tiger. They fought quite frequently with Shiori over her.
