Hope

[Azura]

The sunlight glinted peacefully off the dew drops, nestled on the leaves of the high trees, it was early morning and the sun was just beginning to show it’s self. A large dark creature moved quietly threw the land, the long grass softly tickling the belly of the wolf, his well trained gaze took in every detail not missing anything, his blackened nose scenting the air, a new scent filled his nostrils, probably the new owner of this land. He had been wondering threw these lands for quite some time now searching for a pack to join maybe this one would take him, most alphas were thrown off by his unusual eyes, the strange purple orbs that both him and his sister shared.

Still not giving up on his hope of being a part of a pack again he had tried and tried again at most of the suitable packs he had passed on his travels. He scented the air again, only one wolf lived here, a female by the sweet scent, the alphess, surely she would not turn him away as she was sure to need a new pack member? His mind wandered to his sister also looking for a pack if he was successful here, he would seek out his sister and if she hadn’t found a pack yet, try and convince her to try join this one. But first to try his luck, hopefully it was on his side.

He moved forward quickly just to the edge of the land their he found a large log, covered in a lush green moss, with grace he quickly jumped onto the surface of the log the moss, quite soft and comfy, he sat down before lifting his dark maw skywards letting out a loud howl, to alert the alphess to his presence, he lowered his head slowly, his orbs observing the land about him closely, his black ears picking up every sound nearby, as he calmly awaited her arrival.





Pure white ears perked at the sudden howl, a small growl escaped her maw as the hare she had been stalking on the outskirts of the land, sprinted away. ‘Always ruining my fun’ she thought to herself, still half full from her kill last night she let the hare escape not willing to spend the energy on a 50/50 chance of catching it, instead she rose to her full height from her crouching position and turned towards the direction of the howl, it was a fair distance away but it had been so long since she had seen her brother and was kind of surprised to find him so close to her position, obviously trying yet again to join a pack.

A few of the packs they had tried to join only wanted her because of her luscious white coat, but she had refused as she would not live in a land without her brother in another land nearby and since none would take him their whole life they had been travelling since their release from the sanctuary who had rescued them as pups. Her pace was gentle and calm knowing she would arrive their soon enough.

[Chaska]

She layed under the shading undergrowth still asleep from last night's patrol knowing nothing would come to her territory at the moment. Chaska sighed dreaming of her playing with her adopted twin brothers Vodak and Kodav. She was laughing at them as they had jumped off the waterfall and into the lake Tilly, there surgrant mother had brung them to. "Come on in Sis the water's great!" she heard Vodak yell to her from down below.

Chaska smiled shaking her head "No thanks" Then out of nowhere she felt Kodav grab her scruff and say "To bad" and pull her down with him as he jumped off the waterfall again. Chaska went into the water and came back up coughing up water. "Kodav you tail nagger!" she yelled as she made her way to the banks and climbed out. She heard the two brothers laughing.

She shook her fur and layed down in a sunny patch to dry off. Chask sighed closed her eyes dosing off saying "Very funny you two...just wait....till I get...back........up"[/b][/color]

Her ear twitched as she heard a howl and lifted her head up suddenly. She let her yellow eyes scan the area around her and then yawned and got up stretching getting all the kinks out of her body. She sat down and cocked her ear as she could still hear the howl as it ended. "Well let me go see who it is who has called" she said getting up and starting to move through the trees.

Chaska took in a deep breath and caught the scent of male and tensed her body thinking "Let it not be my brother Karvo please" She smelled a river nearby and decided to clean herself up first. She moved through the river letting the water soak into her fur for a few minutes and then came back out shaking it dry. She looked at her reflection in the water as the sun made her eyes shift to yellow-golden and smiled as well as making her almost like silver fur sparkle.

Then she caught the scent of a female as she moved on. "Hmmm two in one day" she chuckled. As she neared her territories boundry she saw a rabbit also out and about. Chaska's ears went forward as she stalked toward it and then dashed out toward it catching and killing it swiftly. She ate it and moved toward the boundry. Sniffing the air first and then seeing a pure black male sitting on a log. She moved out of the under brush saying "Hello there you howled?" in a strong and authoritive but friendly way.

[Azura]

The sun shined brightly threw the trees, the rays warming his dark coat, his ear twitched at the sound of leaves being squashed, ‘she’s here’ he thought to himself, he scented the air but the gentle breeze was blowing in her direction, so he was unable to smell how close she was. He turned his head slightly as the female moved out from under a bush, he watched her closely first noticing her grey and white pelt and then as she looked up at him her eyes, slightly taken aback as he had never meet a wolf with odd coloured eyes, except himself and his sister, her eyes were the colour of a untarnished petal of a buttercup, the amazing yellow colour was slightly hypnotic to him.

He closed his eyes for a second to regain his composure before answering her question “Hello ma’am, yes I did, my name is Cujo and I was just wondering if I may try out for your pack? That is if you are accepting members?” He replied politely trying to word everything carefully as first impressions were what alphas relied on, on whether or not to accept the creature.

He waited politely, awaiting her answer as the wind direction changed, he inhaled her scent but was surprised not find only the alphess’s but a scent that was very familiar to him, ‘she can’t be here? I would of caught her scent earlier’ he thought to himself, a confused expression crossed his face, why was she here? They hadn’t planed to meet up for another couple of months.



Snow slowed as she closed the gap between him and her, she could now smell a new scent, probably belonging to the ruler of this land, she now moved with much practised skill and grace, to move to bush nearby the two undetected, a skill she perfected for hunting, she watched the two wolves before her, one a large dark male with dark purple orbs who could only be her brother Cujo but the other was not familiar she was a grey white female probably the alphess of the land, but it was her orbs that intrigued Snow maybe her brother would actually get accepted into this one as she doubt she would deny him because of his eyes if hers were equally unusual.

He posture tensed as the wind changed, ‘damit’ she thought as her brother would defiantly know now that she was here, she waited quietly, wondering if she should reveal herself now or wait to be called out?

[Chaska]

Chaska heard the male say “Hello ma’am, yes I did, my name is Cujo and I was just wondering if I may try out for your pack? That is if you are accepting members?” and smiled. "Hello Cujo, My name Chaska and you're in luck i am infact accepting members" She took a breath smelling the scent of the female she had caught a wiff of on her way here. She watched Cujo's expression change to a confused look. "He must know her scent" she thought.

She started to walk up to Cujo and then she walked around the log looking at his features then sat down a little bit from him on the log and looked off toward the trees and smirked slightly. "You can come out of hiding now and introduce yourself as well" she said incouragingly.

[Azura]

His purple orbs sparkled in the sunlight, he watched the alphess closely, ignoring his sisters scent, she would show herself soon enough, he bowed his head slightly as she spoke, he returned his gaze to hers before he spoke

"I is nice to meet you Chaska, i would very much apreciate it if you would alow me the opertunity to tryout?" he said carefully as her words did not indicate that he was accepted yet. He watched her carfully as she moved towards him, he stayed dead still as she moved around the log, looking him over, he looked straight ahead taking this time to locate his sister, she was very close.

He felt the alphess sit down on the log abit away from him, which was to be expected nobody would sit right next to someone they just meet unless they had a death wish, his ears twitched as the alphess spoke again this time not to him but to someone else, someone else who he knew was his sister, he straightened up looking at the bush area slightly to his left, the area he had pin pointed her to be in.



Snow watched the scene infront of her, a smirk crossing her maw, 'About time somone gave him a shot' she thought to herself, she watched as the alphess moved around her brother looking him over, her hair on the back of her neck begain to stand up as a natural reaction to protect her big brother, she quickly caught herself before a growl started, she did not want to come off as a threat, as by now they both surely knew she was here, sure enough when the alphess spoke again she was not talking to Cujo but to her.

She smirked again 'what to do' she thought as she had no intention yet in joining a pack but maybe if this alphess was willing she might come back once she had finished exploring these lands.She rose to her full height wich wasnt much compared to her brother, who was larger then the average brute, she moved forward out of the bush, her head slightly lowered to show the alphess she ment no harm, but her eyes were locked onto her brothers wondering what he would do, after a minute she broke the contact and turned to the alphess, she smiled lightly "Hello I'm Snow, Cujo's sister, it's Chaska isnt it? sorry to inturupt i just wanted to check on my brother and see how he was geting on" she flicked her gaze between the two.

[Chaska]

Chaska heard him ask "It is nice to meet you Chaska, i would very much appreciate it if you would allow me the opportunity to tryout?" She smiled nodding while looking back at him "Of coarse you may" she said. Her eyes went back to the trees as she saw a white female come out toward her saying "Hello I'm Snow, Cujo's sister, it's Chaska isn't it? sorry to interrupt i just wanted to check on my brother and see how he was getting on"

Chask chuckled and said in a warmly voice "Nice to meet you Snow...Yes Chaska is my name and no harm done with wanting to see your brother" She looked back at Cujo before saying "Are you also planning on trying out Snow? because as for now there are alot of ranks open for both of you" She breathed in catching a familiar scent and her eyes suddenly went to the tree line. "It can't be him" she thought. Chaska stood up and the log sniffing the wind again and sure enough the same scent came again.

Her fur bristled and she moved off the log and growled "Karvo" In her mind which was racing a hundred miles per hour she was thinking "How the hell did he find me!?"



Karvo smiled as he had found Chaska's scent at last and followed it to a little shading undergrowth. He stopped and sniffed around and said "Her scent is still fresh" he sniffed around more till he started to move again and went to a stream and stopped. "She did a quick wash up here...now where did she go from......." he stopped mid-sentence and smiled evily and took off running through the trees. "I've finally found you little baby sister" he thought.

Karv moved through the bushes and around the trees swiftly then slowed as he caught the scent of another male and female. He snorted and thought "They shouldn't be a problem" He moved forward and then stopped as he saw a black male sitting on a log, a white female, and Chaska who he saw had grown in size from there last meet but he still towered over her. He heard her growl his name and he chuckled slightly and moved out of the bushes saying "Chasy, my little baby sister you've grown so big since our last meet"

His eyes shifted slightly as a ray of sunlight hit them and he glanced at the male and female saying "Not like you to meet other wolves lil sis what changed your mind?" He walked closer wanting to push Chaska to her limits. He lowered his head with his ears back and did a evil smile toward Chaska.

[Azura]

Snow smiled warmly back at Chaska, she was friendly which was a change most alphess's were unkind and crule, "Thankyou but for now i am happy just exploring the lands, maybe when i am finished, that is if you would still have me, i would join" she replied politely.

Her body tensed as a new scent crossed her nose, 'man she sure is busy' she thought to herself, her purple orbs focused on Chaska and realised that she seemed a tad bit worried by this scent, maybe somone she knew? her gaze shifted as a large brute entered the area, she watched him closely, he matched cujo's height, which surprised her as he was bigger then most wolves as they were raised in captivity and had the recorces to grow large. She was slightly weary of this creature as he had a slight evil aura about him, weaither he was or not she couldnt quite tell.




Cujo bowed his head politely at the alphess before fixing his gaze to the bush area, were snow now apeared from the undergrowth, a small smile played across his maw, it was good to see her again, he listened closly to her coversation with Chaska, he would be happy if she joined the pack eventually. He caught his breath as he watched her body tense, he snaped his gaze to Chaska who seemed slightly distressed, he scented the air, someone was close.

He moved to Chaska's side as any loyal pack member would when their alpha acts in such a way towards an approching creature, his purple orbs fixed on a large brute just apearing from the scrub, he looked him over quickly, he was large like himself and cocky by the looks of things, he quickly glanced at snow, she was closeby which was good, he turned back to the brute, ready to defend his new alphess and sister if the need be.

[Chaska]

Chaska heard Snow's words and nodded saying "Of coarse i would" smiling. and then flicked her gaze back on Karvo who she saw come out of the bushes saying "Chasy, my little baby sister you've grown so big since our last meet" She flattened her ears saying "As i can say they about you...what have you been doing with your life?...still treating your pack like worthless rabbits?" Her ears perked as she saw a ray of sunlight hit his eyes making them shift.

Chaska then saw him look at Cujo and Snow and say "Not like you to meet other wolves lil sis what changed your mind?" She growled making herself bigger and spat "It's none of your buisness Karvo.....get out of my territory...now" She saw him start to move forward and she flattened her body to the ground. She wasn't in the mood to be fighting with him let alone killed. "Karvo get out NOW!.....or this time i will show who's stronger"

She stole a glance at Cujo who she saw come to stand beside her. Chask noticed then he was just about as tall as Karvo. She shook her head saying "No Cujo this is between Me and him" she looked back at Karvo and growled saying "What do you want with me brother you have your pack and i'm beginning with mine"


He chuckled saying "Of coarse not sister haven't you heard of every wolf for'm self?" Karvo heard her tell him to get out of her territory or else. He perked his ears saying "Oh really now why don't you show me instead" He looked at the other male that had come to stand beside her and growled and then saw chaks shake her head telling him it was her and his fight. He smiled saying "Oh yes we wouldn't want you or that other female getting hurt now would we?"

Karvo saw Chaska look back at him and ask him what did he want. he chuckled and moved forward "Dearest sister there are some things you should know about our parents.....First I Killed our father and of our kind mother I killed her as well" He knew that would make her click so he bared his teeth and said "And actually you were supposed to be the alpha of the pack but i never though you would survive on your own"

He stopped within a leap between him and her and said "So now i'm here to stop it for good since the first time didn't go so well" He growled fiercely and leaped toward Chaska knocking her to the ground adn growled in her ear "So what are you going to do now baby sister?" He reared back getting ready to sink his teeth in her throat.

[Azura]

Cujo bowed his head to Chaska and took a few steps back, he paid close attention to their conversation, slightly showing his fangs with a light growl in his throat at the remark the brute made. He watched as the brute pounced on Chaska, awaiting her permission to attack as she didn't want to defy her orders but if the brute drew blood he would attack without hesitation.



Snow watched the scene before he closely, feeling the tension in the air, she growled lightly at the remark from the brute, he shouldn't underestimate her or Cujo as he didn't know them therefor he didn't know their strength, she was slightly taken aback as the brute pounced on Chaska, she looked to Cujo who watched them closely, tensed awaiting Chaskas command, good thing she hadn't joined otherwise she would be tied to that command to, with that she charge at the male knocking him back of Chaska, she quickly turned back to look at the brute her stance ready for him to attack, she was itching for a good fight, she may not be as strong as him but with all his muscle and great size she sure as hell would be quicker then him and that would play to her advantage.


Cujo stood frozen as his sister flashed past him, what was she doing? he jumped quickly to Snows side, his automatic reaction to protect his baby sister kicking in, his purple orbs watched the brute carefully awaiting for that moment when his muscles would tense just before he attacked that would give his move away. Chaska would be angry at him but he was now apart of her pack and this was his time to show her she had made the right choice in accepting him, Plus their was no way he was going to sit their and watch the brute attack her for much longer.

[Chaska]

She stared at Karvo in disbelief when he said he had killed there father and mother. "No that can't be" she thought shaking her head. She listened as he said he'd never thought she would survive on her own. Her ears and head dropped down then she said "Well you thought wrong for another female took care of me"

Chaska looked up to see him pounce on her. She growled when he asked what was she going to do now. She tensed her muscles and said "I'll show you what i'm gonna do" and before she could move she saw Snow knock him off her. She shook her head standing back up and saw Cujo move to Snow's side. She smirked as they both seemed ready for a good fight.

Her eyes went to Karvo's and she had to rethink what he had told her. "That can't be it just can't" she thought shaking her head. She closed her eyes and released a sickening growl. her eyes flew back open and she bunched her muscles and jumped over Snow and Cujo knocking Karvo back. She pinned him to the ground and bite the side of his muzzle. "NOW GET OUT!!" she yelled. "OR YOU LOSE YOUR LIFE ALONG WITH FATHER AND MOTHER!!" she finished.




Karvo smiled and heard her say she would show him and felt her muscles tense. He bared his teeth and then felt another knock him off her. He growled shaking his fur and saw the white female in front of him. He flattened his ears and then saw the male jump to her side. "Hmpf two on one not a problem" he smirked. He lowered himself to the ground and then heard Chaska make a sickening growl.

He looked behind the male and female to see her jump over them and knock him back and pin him to the ground. He bared his teeth and was about to bite at her chest when he felt her bite the side of his muzzle and tell him to get out. He pushed her off and jumped back shaking his muzzle. He looked at each of them and thought "As much as would love to kill her now this doesn't seem the right time those two others look fit for a fight.

He growled and stepped back saying "This is not over baby sister you and i will fight again....and the next it will be ALONE" He bared his teeth and bunched his muscles and ran then jumped over the three and ran off. He looked back yelling "This is not over Chaska remember that i will catch you when you least expect it!"

[Azura]

Cujo growled loudly at the brute and watched as Chaska pinned him to the ground, she was much stronger then she looked, he watched closely awaiting the brute to make a mistake that would cost him his life.

He barred his teeth when the brute shoved Chaska from him, but turned to relax as the brute backed away, his keen ears caught the words shouted back at Chaska, so it wasn’t over yet, obviously he was out for her blood just like he had taken her parents and all for the claim to rule a pack, some pack.

“Chaska are you okay?” he said turning to look at her, concern etched into his face, he did not mean physically but mentally learning that you’re parents are dead could not be easy.


Snow watched the brute closely never relaxing her well trained muscles, awaiting the right time to strike, she was taken aback by the strength of Chaska as she pinned the brute to the ground, she growled loudly at the brute as he shoved her off, he began to back away finaly realizing he was in over his head but vowed to return, probably with his own pack which seemed to be the cause of this fight.

‘Maybe I should stay this pack seems to get a lot of action’ she thought to herself before moving up to Chaska, she lowered herself onto one leg, bowing her head. “If I may ma’am I would like to take that offer of joining you’re pack now, I would be honored to have an alphess such as yourself rule over me”
She knew what she was getting herself into but she was willing to put a lot of effort into this pack, even help recruit members if she would be allowed.

[Chaska]

Chaska felt him shove her off and stood back up watching him. She heard him say "This is not over baby sister you and i will fight again....and the next it will be ALONE" Her head lowered and she growled "Then i cannot wait for your return" Then she saw him step back baring his teeth and jump over them and run and hear him yell back "This is not over Chaska remember that i will catch you when you least expect it!" She turned and barked back "We shall see who will least expect Karvo!"

When she could no longer see him she sighed letting her fur lay flat again and looked down thinking of what just happened. Then she heard Cujo say “Chaska are you okay?” She looked up at him then said "Yes, I'm fine just a little shocked to what he said" She closed her eyes for a moment then took a breath and opened them again shakiing her head clear and forgetting what he said.

Her eyes went to Snow as she heard her say “If I may ma’am I would like to take that offer of joining you’re pack now, I would be honored to have an alphess such as yourself rule over me” Chaska looked at both Cujo and Snow and smiled nodding "You are both strong willed and brave and I welcome you both to the pack, Cujo as Guard and Snow as Lead Huntress"

[Azura]

Snow bowed her head in thanks to her new alphess "Thank you ma'am, now if it is okay by you, can i go explore you're lands so i can get to know them?" she asked politely siting down, her pure white tail flicking calmly at her side, her purple orbs watched the area about her closely while she waited Chaskas response.


Cujo watched her carefully she was a proud wolf like most and would not let her feelings on easily, he would not press it further, she would speak in her own time, maybe when she trusted him more. He listened carefully to what his sister said that scene before must of made some impression on her.

He bowed his head low in respect for Chaska his new alphess as she gave him his new rank, "Thank you Ma'am" he said happy to have a place in a pack, he listened as Snow talked about exploring Shaded Heaven and he to decided he should explore especially if he was going to live here and guard this pack he was going to need to know the layout of the land, "I to would like the chance to explore Shaded Heaven, if you would allow Ma'am, i would be only a call away if you need me" he asked taking a seat beside Snow waiting Chaskas reply.

[Chaska]

Chaska gave a small wag to her tail and heard Snow say "Thank you ma'am, now if it is okay by you, can i go explore you're lands so i can get to know them?" She smiled and nodded giving Snow permission then her eyes went Cujo as he asked the same and she nodded to him as well.

Chask turned her body back toward the tree line and looked back saying "Ow yes and the land is no longer just mine it now belongs to all of us" She gave a smirk looking at both of them and said "I welcome you to lands here again" And she moved off into the trees making a glance behind her beyond Cujo and Snow thinking "That will not be the last time we will see Karvo...he will come back but he underestimates me now"

She gave a small sigh slowly taking in a breath of the fresh spring day and made her way back to the river and got a drink before moving to a shaded to lay and rest for a while.

[Azura]

Snow smiled as she was granted permission to explore, she loved exploring and finding new things, she watched Chaska leave and heard her call back that the land was no longer just hers it was theirs, a large smile crossed her maw she had never felt so accepted into a pack before, she had defiantly made the right decision in joining this pack.

She turned to Cujo "I will see you later brother" and with that she turned right and headed off into the woods eager to explore the lands in which she now called home.


Cujo bowed his head once more as she granted him permission also to explore the land, he caught the words she called back to them as she left the area, "Thank you ma'am we will do our best to serve this land and you" he called back after her.

He turned to Snow as she spoke to him "You to sister take care and don't get into any mischief" he said is he turned in the opposite direction to snow and padded slowly away, ready to discover every inch of this land.
